What you can expect
- Industrial mechanics specializing in maintenance ensure the operational readiness of our machinery and all technical systems through servicing and maintenance work.
- As an industrial mechanic, you will learn basic manual skills and specialist knowledge of metalworking in order to assemble components made of different materials into assemblies and complete machines.
- You use your skills in turning, milling, grinding, sawing, drilling and welding
- You will learn the basics of control technology (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and put what you have learned into practice in day-to-day operations.
- As an industrial mechanic, you will monitor and optimize production processes.

What you can expect
- As a punching and forming mechanic, you will learn how to manufacture components and assemble and disassemble assemblies.
- You will learn all machining processes by hand as well as by turning, milling and grinding in our tool shop and training workshop.
- As a punching and forming mechanic, you play a crucial role in our operations, as you are responsible for setting up our machinery.
- You monitor, control and optimize production processes and are responsible for the flow of materials within your area.
- Thanks to your in-depth knowledge, you can carry out minor repairs yourself.

What you can expect
- As a tool mechanic, you will process metals and other materials and use them to manufacture tools of all kinds.
- You will process the materials by hand and with the help of conventional and CNC machines (milling, sawing, drilling, turning, eroding, grinding).
- As a tool mechanic, you will design and manufacture printing, punching, pressing and forming tools for our machinery.
- As a tool mechanic, you will carry out quality checks on the machine components manufactured.
- You maintain and, if necessary, repair the tool parts.

What you can expect
- You will complete a so-called cooperative study program at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Meschede. You determine the exact schedule, length and number of practical phases in our company and are therefore flexible.
- The course starts on September 1 and lasts between 6 and 8 semesters.
- In addition to practical knowledge from the company, you will acquire theoretical, business fundamentals and knowledge in the field of engineering through your studies and thus become an all-rounder with many new skills. Depending on what interests you, you can choose one of the specializations: Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or sustainable production.

- In addition to practical knowledge from the company, you will acquire theoretical, business fundamentals through your studies and thus become an all-rounder with many new skills. Your course content will include the following subjects: business administration, economics, law and finance.
Your tasks
During your dual study program, you will gain insights into the following topics:
- You will get to know the various departments in an industrial company
- You will gain insights into the workflows and processes in the company
- You will work in all commercial departments such as sales, logistics, purchasing, HR and financial accounting
